Summer Camp – Overview

“Summer Camp is the place to BE! Where we find the “ME” Inside!

Academics are continued to keep the youth in preparation for the upcoming school year. Where Am I? Pre-test & Post-test.

This yearly retreat provided an opportunity for our children to see what it is like to go on a hayride, to experience fresh farm air, and enjoy fresh veggies from the garden. This was a thrill for both our youth and their parents/guardians. Buckeye Hills Ranch is an ongoing project, which hopefully will be in continual operation in the “not too distant” future. 

Summer Camp 2025 – “The Me I See!”

We had an incredible, fun-filled 2025 Camp Jonah Summer Camp, where the theme was “The Me I See!” We are grateful to Mayor Andrew Ginther and the Recreation & Parks department for their generous support, which was the driving force behind the successful organization of this year’s camp!

This year’s theme continues to be “THE ME I SEE”. Our onboard Early Childhood Development Specialist, Early Childhood Mental Health Consultants, Physical Fitness, Healthy eating, and FUN speaks to the while childhood experience!

Field Trips

“Let’s See What’s Out There” Traveling to places like Buckeye Hills Ranch around Gallipolis area to get a feel of the “Great Outdoors” horseback riding, hayrides, eating from the land!
