WELCOME TO PROJECT REDEEM

“Building Today, A Better Tomorrow For Our Youth” is the motto and goal of our youth development organization. We have and will continue to nurture, mentor, and guide the youth under the realm of our influence, to make better choices and realize their intrinsic value, targeting low income and underserved communities within Franklin County and surrounding areas. As a state-approved Supplemental Education Provider, Project Redeem uses the tools of tutoring based on the Ohio Academic Standards to assist in the education of our youth. We, additionally, expose the youth to cultural acitivies, i.e. COSI, Historical Museum, Theatre, Music, and the Arts. It is also our belief that health is a number one priority so we have been blessed with a staff member who is on the team of the new Early Learning and Development Standards of Ohio which entails healthy meal planning for our youth. Personal hygiene programs to educate the body, Faith-based guidelines to educate the soul and set values has proven to be intricate parts of the Project Redeem platform. Physical fitness is a critical part of the Project Redeem model; therefore, our Co-Founder, Larry Griffin, who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree/Health & Physical Education, created physical exercises to coincide with the physical growth stages of the youth from age 3, addressing coordination, and into the teen years with strength training and endurance exercises. It is our goal to build self esteem and to set solid principles within the hearts and minds our participating youth.
